For starters, my dad is a doctor from a family of obsessive-compulsive doctors. My mom is a teacher from a family of neutoric teachers. I am an obsessive-compulsive neurotic who believes that your career is your identity. I grew up in the suburbs where I took refuge in the world of the mind. Its difficult to write a biography in a web form. Its like, 'Enter your e-mail address. Tell us your life story. Now check this box if you want to receive our newsletter.' Its sort of ridiculous, and I would imagine that most people's biographies are identical. "I was born in Shmucky, Conneticut. I have a brother who is the assistant mid-level middle manager in the managerial department at HDX Data and Telemarketing LLC. We used to pretend to be fighter pilots when we were kids until my brother fell off the roof of my dad's station wagon and I broke my ass bone. My favorite shows are CSI and Sex in the City. I have X-Box and I'm unemployed." One day they're going to come out with a computer program that reads all the blogs that were ever written and put on the internet. After two seconds, the program will report that out of 777,000,000 blogs [all of the blogs that were every made], there are only fifty that are not exactly identical.
